เพราะแต่ละคนต้องการสารอาหารที่แตกต่างกัน Hidden Hunger ภาวะของการขาดวิตามิน หรือแร่ธาตุบางชนิดที่สำคัญไปโดยไม่รู้ตัว อาจเป็นเพราะวิถีชีวิตที่เร่งรีบ การรับประทานอาหารที่ไม่หลากหลาย ได้รับสารอาหารไม่ครบถ้วน ทำให้ต้องพบกับปัญหาร่างกายขาดสารอาหาร
ทำให้ปัจจุบันการรับประทานอาหารเสริมได้รับความนิยมอย่างแพร่หลายมากขึ้น แต่เราจะรู้ได้อย่างไรว่า อาหารเสริมที่รับประทานเข้าไปนั้น เหมาะสมกับเราแล้ว พญ.อนงนุช ชวลิตธำรง แพทย์ American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine จาก Addlife Anti-Aging Center ชั้น 2 ไลฟ์เซ็นเตอร์ (คิวเฮ้าส์ ลุมพินี) ได้เผยว่า แต่ละคนมีความต้องการรับสารอาหารที่แตกต่างกัน จะดีกว่าไหมหากเรารู้ว่าร่างกายขาดวิตามิน หรือแร่ธาตุตัวไหน เพื่อลดอันตรายจากการได้รับเกินขนาด หรือไม่เหมาะสม
สำหรับทางการแพทย์ชะลอวัยหรือ Anti-Aging มีเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัย สามารถวัดระดับของวิตามิน แร่ธาตุ สารอาหารในเลือดได้เช่น Vitamin B, C, D, Calcium, Zinc, Coenzyme Q10, Lycopene เป็นต้น ว่าแต่ละตัวมีระดับเท่าไร ดีอยู่แล้วหรือไม่เพียงพอ รวมถึงระดับสารอนุมูลอิสระ และสารต้านอนุมูลอิสระ เพื่อที่จะวางแผนและจัดวิตามิน สารอาหารเหล่านั้นให้เหมาะสมกับแต่ละบุคคลตามผลเลือดที่ได้ โดยไม่ต้องกังวลว่าคุณจะได้รับอันตรายจากการรับประทานเกินขนาด มีการสะสมจนเกิดพิษ หรือปริมาณน้อยเกินไปจนไม่เกิดผล รวมถึงข้อควรระวังในแต่ละบุคคลด้วย สำหรับท่านที่ยังไม่ได้ตรวจเลือด หมอจะขอแนะนำคร่าวๆเกี่ยวกับวิตามินที่จำเป็นสำหรับแต่ละช่วงวัยนะคะ
– ช่วงอายุน้อยกว่า 20 ปี เป็นวัยที่ร่างกายกำลังเจริญเติบโต จึงต้องการสารอาหารที่ช่วยเสริมสร้าง เช่น แคลเซียมเพื่อช่วยเสริมสร้างมวลกระดูก ธาตุเหล็กช่วยสร้างเม็ดเลือดแดง ป้องกันโลหิตจาง โอเมก้า-3 ช่วยเสริมสมาธิและความจำ เป็นต้น
– ช่วงอายุ 20 – 40 ปี หรือวัยทำงาน เป็นวัยที่อาจจะมีการเหนื่อยล้าจากการทำงาน ควรรับประทานวิตามินที่ช่วยเพิ่มพลังงาน บำรุงระบบประสาท เสริมภูมิคุ้มกันให้แข็งแรง เช่น วิตามินบีรวม วิตามินซี โคเอนไซม์คิวเทน เป็นต้น
– ช่วงอายุ 40 ปี ขึ้นไป เป็นวัยที่การทำงานของร่างกายเริ่มเป็นขาลง หรือเริ่มเสื่อมนั่นเองค่ะ กระดูกเริ่มบางลง ผิวหนังเริ่มเหี่ยว การทำงานของอวัยวะต่างๆเริ่มไม่ดีเหมือนเดิม จึงต้องการสารอาหารที่เพิ่มขึ้น เช่น วิตามินบีรวม วิตามินซี วิตามินดี แคลเซียม โคเอนไซม์คิวเทน เป็นต้น
อย่างไรก็ดี แต่ละคนก็ย่อมต้องการสารอาหารที่แตกต่างกันตามที่หมอได้กล่าวไว้ข้างต้นนะคะ ดังนั้นถ้าได้เจาะเลือดดูจะดีที่สุดค่ะ ซึ่งปกติการตรวจค่าวิตามิน และสารอาหารจะแนะนำให้ตรวจปีละ 1 ครั้ง เพื่อการเลือกวิตามินให้เหมาะกับตัวเราที่สุด เพราะสุขภาพที่ดีย่อมมาจากการใส่ใจ ดังนั้นอย่าลืมเลือกสิ่งที่ดีที่สุดให้ร่างกายเรานะคะ
